Every 2nd and 4th Sunday from 9 am - 9:30 am. Classes will be offered via Zoom.

Our intention: To provide a healing experience for your self-care Sunday to start your week.

Class Description: You don't have to be a pretzel or rubber band to grasp yoga! The first stretch is your mind. This class provides you an opportunity to explore the benefits of yoga including flexibility, improved muscle tone, injury prevention, mental awareness, and weight loss. You will learn basic yoga poses to boost overall health and fitness. Breathing practices are included.

Class Level: Beginner - blend of floor-based and standing poses.

Clothing: Wear appropriate and comfortable clothing. Keep in mind that our classes are online! We want to ensure a safe environment virtually.

What do you need:

  • Yoga Mat

  • Bolster: Roll thick towels or blankets tightly together, or use a large folded-up pillow.

  • Yoga Strap: Use a belt, towel, exercise band, or jump rope.

  • Eye pillow: Try a clean sock! Put lavender tea bags inside of it for a calming practice or lemon for something more invigorating. An ACE bandage or headband can serve as an eye cover too.

  • Yoga Blocks: Use Tupperware (the sturdy kind), free weights, water bottles, books, or a pair

    of chairs or stools.

  • Blankets: Any cloth that can be rolled/molded for different uses can work. Towels are the easiest substitute, but a rolled yoga mat often works well. 

  • Water
